ODS Garment is a factory majority-owned and run by Avantex (formerly ODS), making Avantex the only technology provider that owns and operates a fully functioning garment factory. With 200 sewing workers, the factory achieves an annual output of 3 million pieces and produces garments for high-end brands.
ODS Garment was created to showcase Avantex's manufacturing philosophy and serve as a testing site for new Avantex functions. The factory required a dynamic and efficient production process to meet demanding client needs while maintaining high quality.
Using Avantex's Smart Production System (SPS) and other integrated solutions, ODS Garment optimized worker output through a section and stack model that dynamically balances production lines. This, combined with SKU-level traceability at every operation, ensures full transparency across the production floor.
With Avantex's SPS, ODS Garment achieves an annual efficiency of 100% and a First Pass Yield (FPY) of 96%. The fully integrated automation system reduced manual intervention and provided real-time visibility, allowing the factory to maintain high-quality standards and meet tight production schedules.
